Iphone burned?
Please only answer if you are familiar with this!
Hello, about a week ago my phone got really hot, so I quickly ran out into the garden with it because it's notoriously cold outside. A few minutes later, a lot of smoke came out of my phone. When it stopped, I noticed that the entire back glass had cracked off, everything smelled burnt, the display was completely ruined, etc. And no, the phone has never been repaired or anything. It's an iPhone 13 Pro Max that's been used a lot, etc. The only problem was that it had 80% battery capacity.
What can I do? I don't think the Apple Store can fix it. And yes, I have the box from the phone.
That sounds like a battery that has made itself independent – fortunately you are well, could have been different. I haven’t heard anything like this for a long time, but this may be the case if the device is really used intensively. Either way, the back would have to blow up.
Repair is probably complicated. The Apple Store tends to lean down quite quickly, with smaller stores often try something. The back cover is not the problem. It depends on how much is dead due to the heat of the battery inside. You could have a look at it for security. A new purchase is perhaps more lucrative than a repair
I think the battery has committed suicide.
HAST MY DAY GEMACHT HAHA
This sounds strongly like the battery has blown up… since, according to your statement, the back cover and the display have also been in sympathy, it is a total damage…
