Can't reset iPhone 8?
I found an old phone, but I don't remember the PIN anymore and wanted to put it into recovery mode to reset it. Since it's an iPhone 8, you're supposed to hold down the volume up button, then the volume down button, and then the side button. However, I've tried unlocking the iPhone so many times that it just says the iPhone is unavailable. When I try to put the iPhone into recovery mode, all that appears is the shutdown menu. Does anyone know what I can do and how much it would cost to have it reset at an Apple Store or cell phone repair shop?
Kind regards
Philip
Backing up mobile phone gives in the net free programs, how safe they are another thing.
However, I also need to connect my phone to the computer, which is not possible
Why shouldn’t it work to connect a phone to a Pc via cable?
With the right program, you don’t have to get in the mode. Otherwise the software would not make any sense for resetting
But that’s what the phone has to switch to a special mode that you can access the phone from the PC at all and I don’t get in it
