Hey. I bought an iPhone 7 Plus today, July 31, 2024. It's a brand new, unopened device. I left it plugged in for about two hours because it was apparently dead. But after two hours, nothing happened. The display is black and nothing happens. Is the battery to blame? Because it's brand new, original Apple packaging.

So your device’s been unused for at least 5 years. There’s a deep discharge. You have to change it, it’s over. If the iPhone then works, you cannot say.
