I have an iPhone 15 and for a few minutes now, when I close apps (i.e. swipe from bottom to top) it's not smooth but freezes and then immediately disappears. The same happens when I only do it halfway so that I can see all the open apps. Is that intentional or is something broken?

Could be a problem with the software. I would try the following:
If the above steps do not remedy the situation, a Recovery the Software fix the problem. However, all data are deleted from the device. Backup is therefore mandatory! You can find a guide here: https://support.apple.com/de-de/guide/mac-help/mchla3c8ed03/mac
