The iPhone 14 has a fixed 60 Hz image repetition rate as it is an LTPS OLED display. The pro models have an LTPO OLED display, which supports variable image repetition rates up to 120 Hz, which are also somewhat more expensive. It is therefore a hardware-side restriction and no software-side where there could be a trick.

The trick is to buy a Pro or Pro Max model. The “normal” cannot be technically 120Hz.
