I bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max on eBay a few days ago. Last night, I noticed that when I lower the brightness, it has a greenish glow. Does anyone have any idea what this could be, or if something's broken, what's wrong?

The device has an OLED display.
This type of display tends to “burn” or narrow. “Burn In.” In the end, if content is displayed there that remains the same for longer periods, a kind of ghost image can arise.
If your whole display is green in the dark, it could be a very strong BurnIn. The previous user then has to have just solidified on the same screen for a very long time or so without it going out.
I can’t explain anything else as a cause.
And such a BurnIn usually only gets rid of the entire display and it doesn’t cost much at Apple.
