Iphone 11 gray screen after display replacement?

A while ago I had my original broken display repaired by a non-original one. At first everything worked normally, but after I did a software update this happened ( see photo ): When I force a restart it says "Iphone not available in 5 minutes, try again". After 5 minutes the grey screen comes back and says swipe up. But you can't swipe up because the display isn't responding. The other buttons work, so the display goes on and off. Can someone help me how I can get my phone working again and maybe even keep the old data.

I would suspect that display with the new iOS version is somehow incompatible and therefore it does not work.

Look at the website of the manufacturer of the display whether he writes anything about it.

Well, there’s no original display and iPhones to recognize that. Otherwise, this is of course less quality.

Since there is a saying “who buys cheap, buys twice,” is not mean evil, but I would never come to think of a repair just because it is cheaper to perform outside Apple. Also have Apple care +, even without. You’ll find another solution.

More precisely, they don’t want to. If an iPhone has already been repaired at apple-foreign workshops, the device for Apple has died. Apple refuses repair in such cases.

Of course they can, is quite normal display exchange then.

So Apple can trade it already, there’s the question whether it comes with the costs. A used iPhone 11 is almost as expensive as an original Apple display.

You should get the repair service.
