iPad question?
I want to buy an iPad for university so I can take better notes and so doing homework isn't as frustrating as it is on a laptop. The problem is, the Apple Store only offers the 10th-generation iPad with either 64GB or 256GB storage, but the latter is about €200 more expensive. That would already be the same price as an iPad Air. An iPad Air with a stylus and Apple Care would cost €800, which is a bit too much for me. A 10th-generation iPad with 64GB would cost me €570, which is more acceptable. My question is, is 64GB enough?
Depends heavily on what you want to use the IPad.
I also got mine from 2017 with 64 GB and slowly gets really close— on the other hand, this is already 7 years (well, but I don’t have it yet)
So, in my opinion, if you want to use it especially for the university and maybe a bit of music/video streaming, the 64 are also perfectly fine 🙂

Yeah, it’s really supposed to be for university because I’m not getting clear with all the bills on my laptop. I also bought iCloud storage. I wanted to ask again because 64gb in 2024 is no longer as good as it was.
Yeah, so you’re gonna get super clear, I’ve been making my notes on it since the top level (so…at about 4 years today) and that’s less than 10GB
64GB are quite little memory. And yes, the iPad 10 with 265GB memory is quite expensive. But the equally expensive air has only 64GB memory. That’s a big difference.
I would definitely take the model with 265GB memory. You can never have too much memory.
The iPad Air has 128gb memory I mean. Or I’ve looked at myself and it’s just an extra option but I think it would be standard 128gb
Okay, right. But that’s how the 10’s still has double memory at 100€ savings.
64 gb are quite short, but should probably be enough if you get almost no games to you, do not store any amount of photos on the iPad and do not store videos offline at streaming services.
But the iPad 10 would already pick up 64 gb of memory or iPad Air, which is even more future-proof for an extra fee and supports the much more pleasant Apple Pencil Pro.
If you buy the air, you will also use the student discount from Apple.
On iPad 10 gene. You can connect USB sticks. You can also upload a lot to iCloud.
I have the iPad too, and it’s enough for me.
have a ipad 10 generation in pink with 64 GB use it for school and it fits well
I have no photos on it (for the school)
but also got 200GB icloud speivher from school but have consumed 30GB to jz
