Ipad Air 2024 not working properly?

Hello everyone.

I'm starting university soon, so I bought an iPad Air. I'm not really an Apple fan, but it simply had the most advantages for me.

Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work. After I had everything configured, the app store wouldn't load at first. I had to reset the tablet, set it up again, and only then did it work. Now I open an app and usually just get a black screen… I have to close it and reopen it, and then it works.

This is very tedious. Does anyone have any advice, or do I really have to return the item?

(It is new and not second hand.)
