Interrupt roast duck?

Hello,

I have a question: Can you stop roasting a duck in the oven? So, roast the duck in the oven for 1 hour, take a 3-hour break, and then turn the oven back on after 3 hours and finish roasting?

I would like to do something but I can't because the animal has to be in the oven for so long.

I’d hire the timer at the oven.

If not available: Then I would fry the frying at a lower temperature and let it in.

If you let him cool for 3 h, it will no longer be through IMHO.

Bacteria multiply in the raw and warm interior. If everything is not completely done after that, an infection is high. So don’t interrupt.

I wouldn’t interrupt this – then there would be a semi-gar part outside and still raw inside. Why don’t you put the duck in the fridge again and do it all later, but without interruption?

Four hours for a duck? It should then have the consistency of saw blades.

I would reduce the temperature to 80 degrees. Leave for one hour and then roast again at 200 degrees short brown.

I hope you’ve rubbed the animal with plenty of butter before?

Dice at low temperature fry, about 8 hours.
