Internet crashes very often?
Hello everyone,
We have a DSL connection with up to 250mbit from 1&1.
We've been happy with 1&1 so far. But since we changed our plan to 250 Mbps two years ago, we've been experiencing regular internet crashes.
Sometimes the internet runs stable for a while and then there are periods where the internet crashes several times a day.
We've called 1&1 many times, and they've performed a line test and always say everything's fine, or rather, the problems are being fixed at the distribution box. The technician has already been by twice. He couldn't find any problems with the telephone socket in the apartment.
I've already turned down the performance on the Fritz!Box, but that didn't help. I've also checked the cabling on the box.
We're slowly becoming confused and don't know what to do next. Fiber optic isn't available where we live, so unfortunately we have to rely on DSL. We don't want to switch to cable because our neighbors in the building are also having problems.
Are you having a similar problem? Do you have any advice on how I can force my internet provider to perform a check to find and fix the problem?
It’s called synch breaks.
Here’s what’s lazy, because I sat 3 years in the 1&1 technology hotline
1&1 can’t do that, it can only be Deutsche Telekom. So on behalf of 1&1 does not happen in conversation
So they lied to you in a reddish manner. These are pure excuses.
And I know how funny it sounds. All call centers for large companies are not owners but you rent call center operators. The agents then get a technical training just in the field of technology.
when I was there (until 2015) we had an hour to resolve. These were usually FB problems (which is why I will never use one) Only then did a team leader see if he could help. We secretly called Deutsche Telekom. To make it quicker. *
The service at 1&1 is to be massively sacked.
It wouldn’t have happened.
That was a telecom engineer and they’re not going until they can’t do anything by ping. The line path is a bit long server space, then one or more distributors then the APL in the home cellar the phone box is the last when the signal arrives there. It’s not a DSL problem. But you can see this on the router (The Leds) and on the router. The FB documents what’s going on in the error log. If the line had fallen, when or long, or the router stood through, or it was the Wlan.
You have to look at it.
*ich had to stop illness. The CC here is now too.
I am only surprised that a technician on the spot will consider various defects, except the phone box.
JEDER Internet providers have MEHRFACHE Call Center in Germany, otherwise this would not work at all, but you should know that.
I work for Deutsche Telekom myself and if we do not recognize any negative events on the router and on the line measurement, I send e.g. no technician out, only because I know that the customer uses WLAN and the provider is not responsible for this.
Direct calls at Deutsche Telekom, but with the announcement you have a contract at 1&1, there is nothing to do with us and refer to your provider, even from data protection.
Breakdowns must be recognizable.
At the latest at the router in the event log, something must be stored.
If there is nothing in there, KANN and MUSS assume that the customer uses WLAN or repeater.
Here you go
from the question
In the log, we always have DSL answer not noted and DSL does not synchronize
I accidentally sent in between and wrote a lot more… Most of what you noticed. CC Construction Error protocol
Hello,
I recommend that you continue to contact 1&1 to fix the problem. Alternatively, you can also switch to us and we will go to the bottom. Please register for the change via the contact form https://www.telekom.de/kontakt/e-mail-kontakt/telekom-hilft-team and we’ll get back to you. We can’t do anything like this as Telekom.

If you’ve supported, I want to see evidence.
In the Fritz!Box etc. something in the event log must be something in the way.
If there is nothing in it, you clearly use Wi-Fi and the provider is not responsible and not responsible, but you.
Each provider provides and guarantees its Internet only BIS to the router.
The user is responsible for everything after the router.
The technicians are in front of you/they are really Telekom technicians, but if they have not found anything, then everything will be IO.
with us this certainly does not depend on WLAN. In Fritz Box Protocol stands only DSL does not reply DSL Syncronization
