Internet ist über Lan langsamer als Wlan?
Hallo, wie schon im Titel steht habe ich ein Problem mit meinem Internet Speed. Also mein Internet ist sowieso nicht so gut ich habe nur etwa über Wlan zwischen 25 und 35 Mbps. Ich habe mir nun die Tage einen neuen gaming Pc zusammen gebaut und ich dachte mir ich versuchs mal über Lan da in meiner Fritzbox steht das sie mit 72Mbps läuft. Ich bin stark davon ausgegangen das ich dann logischerweise etwa 70Mbps haben werde über das Lan Kabel aber jedoch hatte ich dann genau wie mit dem Wlan nur 25- 35 Mbps wenn nicht sogar etwas weniger so 20-25 Mbps. Woran könnte das Liegen ? Ich war direkt mit dem Router verbunden und nicht an einer Switch oder ähnliches. Ich habe es auch mit 2 Laptops von mir vesucht und genau das gleiche Ergebnis.

There is no LAN connection speed of 25-35 Mbs (also taking into account the non-existent unit Mbs). LAN speeds in Homenetzene are either 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s, 1 Gbit/s or, more recently, — corresponding components assumed — 2.5 Gbit/s. You can see this in the settings of your network adapters.
With the unit Mbs you use, you do not really know what you measured or read (where?). Have you measured connection speeds (in the units mentioned above via a speed test) or have measured download rates in the Megabyte unit per second (MB/s or mb/s).
Last but not least, you do not say at what speed you are connected to the Internet (combined speed in contract with your provider)
All in all: Without an exact description of the technical facts, you can only speculate what you mean could be. A correct and explaining answer is not possible.
Ok Bro sorry then stop mbps and apart from that I just mean that my internet speed with a Lan cable is just as slow as about my Wlan or even worse
