Internet no longer works after unplugging and plugging in the LAN cable?

Hello, I recently unplugged and replugged my LAN cable because I was remodeling my office. Since then, I can no longer access the internet, and it says "unidentified network."

Did you put the cables on the router? Maybe something has been changed and you got a wrong jack.

Internet is no longer

Oh, you did.

(The Internet doesn’t care whether your computer has a connection there or not. It also runs without your computer.)

The problem is already in your local network.

and it stands “non-identified network” there

Because the computer doesn’t find the router. This can be due, for example, to the fact that the DHCP server of your router does not respond to requests. This can usually be eliminated by switching off and restarting the router.

The alternative would be to predetermine the computer in its network card configuration already statically an IP address, subnet mask and the router IP as a gateway and, if necessary, also to define addresses for the DNS servers to be used. (The data is usually assigned to the computer without entries by the router.)

Internet is no longer

….

Oh, you did.

I believe the least one thing is clear that they should best dive in front of the secret services, the mafia and the other ” instances” for the rest of their lives, should really succeed them. 😂

I find it much more funny: “I deleted the internet” 🙂

Whether you have the Internet, you see the router.

Not identifying network means something completely different.
DA may only help restart routers.

Call the provider.

What should the provider do?

If the LAN cable has been plugged into the DSL network socket – then the Internet no longer works. The cable must get out of the DSL socket.

Set, with plugged cable, the network back (problem treatment)
