Internet connection?

I signed up for an internet contract, received the data and router, and installed everything. The contract was supposed to start three weeks ago. Now the internet is working, but it's much too slow for what I originally ordered. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

In your question, any technical number or detail (contract speed, connection speed displayed in the router, speed measured via a speed test, measurement via LAN or WLAN and data rate in MB/s from Downloads) is missing as to whether there is a lack of information, whether you simply mess with MByte/s and MBit/s or what else could happen.
Define too slow.
Normal fluctuations are okay and if only 40 Mbits are coming instead of 50, you can’t do anything.
not even 1 Mbit 😅
Then call the provider
Are you connected to the LAN? What does it show in the admin panel as speed?
Just call your provider and tell him.
Or the support.
How did you measure the speed and what does your contract say?
