Interesting statement about social workers?

In German class, we're supposed to give a presentation about our career aspirations. We're supposed to include an interesting statement. I don't quite understand what that means… Does anyone have an interesting statement about the profession of social worker?

“Social pedagogues use their own person as a working instrument.”

“The personal attitude of the social pedagogue significantly influences the quality of the support.”

Maybe you can find more statements here that you like better and which you can use better.

Whatever I think of. One could also deal with the clichés in a presentation about the career desire and then confirm or refute them accordingly.

Example: All social pedagogues are good people and idealists.

For me very sparing:

  • There are 100 languages that a child speaks or
  • Game is the work of the child (which clearly emphasizes the importance and importance of games); if you want to get this explained in more detail, just ask

This is very interesting because people who have no idea of pedagogy often think that children can’t play out. They do not know that the children learn everything through playing. There are so many ways to play (movement, role-playing, games with natural materials, experiments, games with legos, board and table games, circle games, songs and singing, games that invent children)

And here too, the children always learn something else, they learn to resolve conflicts, get to know each other and their bodies, they acquire expertise, they learn the language, they become exploratory and acquire curiosity, the motor skills are made up of both coarse and fine motors, they learn social behaviors, common sense, compromise, develop ideas, creativity, sense of responsibility, resilience,… I could say 100 things to you

I’d rather look at famous pedagogues like Maria Montessori (was a doctor and still she is very popular in educational concepts), Friedrich Fröbel (has opened the first kindergarten), Waldorf Education (was originally a cigarette factory), Janusz Korzak, Siegmund Freud, Jean Piaget, Carl Roggers, jean jacques rousseau

These are the most common pedagogues, you can read

Or also modern concepts (reggio pädagogik, open concept, waldorf, montessori)
