Intercom radio relay to operate the electric opener?
What's the easiest way to equip the button on the intercom that activates the electric strike to open the front door with a radio relay? This allows me to open the door from the outside by pressing the radio button. What voltage does my relay require? How do I connect the relay to the intercom?
This is not to be answered, as there are various manufacturers of door systems that are in turn building cable or bus-guided systems.
In the case of two-wire technology, this is only possible with a single handle parallel to the door opener scanner, since the bus line cannot be loaded.
In our case, we have installed a keycode door that uses a 6 stelling PIN to actuate the public electronics. If you enter the code 4x in succession incorrectly, the system locked for 30 seconds. The blocking time is then always extended by 5 minutes per further failure.
Thank you very much, I mean the signal that is usually made by hand to open the door, I want to switch with a radio relay. Have a very old Siedle SSS intercom.
Then you would have to find out the voltages from the schematic and then tap them accordingly; switch the potential-free relay contact parallel to the door button.
With us are the 12V DC and 8V AC for the door opener (summer)
