Installing indicators on Yamaha YZF-R6 Rj 05?

We want to install new indicators on the R6 RJ05. Since the indicators flash too quickly without a relay, we need to install one. My question is, does anyone know where the connection for this is?

Without relays, nothing flashes fast or slowly one must be installed.

Resistances are installed because the resistance becomes lower.

Blinker bulbs with different wattages. This can be 10, 18, but also 21 watts per flasher. The watt data also differs from the different LED flashers.

However, since the series flash relay has to be “pre-gauzed” as accurately as possible, that a lamp with a correct (serial) wattage is mounted, the electric god has set some research and computation work before filling out the shopping cart.

  • A series blinker has 10 Watt, x 2 = 20 Watt
  • An LED flasher has 1.5 Watt, x 2 = 3 Watt
  • Difference from both values: 17 Watt

The resistance to be selected must therefore replace about 17 watts to ensure a correct flashing frequency.

In our case comes the one that replaces with a value of 8.2 Ohm 18 Watt.

As it is known that each side of the vehicle is “for itself”, we need a resistance for the left and one for the right.

Even now, the motorcycle has a “relais” and for LED flashers you need it against a “performance-independent Relay”.

Without relays, they flash faster? Would say that without relays they don’t flash at all….
