Installing a new car radio in a dirty car, what should I pay attention to?
Hello,
I want to install a new radio in our farm vehicle (a 2007 Polo). The standard radio only receives the city's FM stations. My 2014 car receives significantly more at the same location, and also on FM.
I've already removed the radio and couldn't find that the antenna connection wasn't plugged in. But regardless, I'd go straight for one with DAB, hands-free, etc.
I had already looked and then found this, for example:

Should I stay away from no-name brands, or can I use them? Is there anything else I should be aware of?
I’ve had quite bad experiences with such noname radios. Just hands-free and Bluetooth were problematic…
In the case described, I would rather tap antenna or amplifiers (will be installed externally?). Put your other car radio in the polo and see if it receives more. Otherwise you have a new radio with old problems…
buy a brand device, is not so much more expensive
if factory radio is in, I would advise you to buy an adpate frame with cable. the dinger thus cost between 15 and 20 € there is in the way everything you need.
the question is only, it really lies at the radio, or rather at the antenne. If you want to gloomy anyway, a universal dachantenne with it was felt.

I’d take some more money in my hand… because the Geizige pays twice…
