Installing 2x M2 memory, what about the boot manager?

Hello everyone,

I'm going to be building a new system soon, and I'm going to install two M2 drives in it. My question is, how is the boot manager doing in the meantime?

Back then it was always like this: you installed the SSD first, installed Windows on it and only then did you connect the HDD so that the boot manager wasn't installed on it as well, but what about today with two M2 storage devices?

First install one, put Windows on it and then install the other one or does that no longer matter?

If windows go on both storages, then you instantly press F12 on booze, then you can choose what to boot over the PC.

Otherwise it doesn’t matter, the PC notices where Windows or the operating system is on it
