Install SATA SSD?
I bought a SATA SSD and I'm not sure how to install it in my iCue 465x. Can someone please help me?
This is the slot for the SSD. But the SSD doesn't fit there very well.

Hello, I just bought a new hard drive (Samsung 990 Pro). I have Win 11 I didn't remove any hard drives. (Windows runs on C, which is already an SSD. I also installed a 2 TB HDD and wanted to get a new hard drive as an SSD.) I inserted the Samsung hard drive into…
Hello, Can an NVMe (expansion slot) in the Playstation 5 slim smoke if you don't use a heatsink?
I wanted to order my new hard drive this week. This means I'm getting rid of two defective ones. What would you go for? Internal or external? It's basically just meant to serve as a backup and data storage device. I'm currently deciding between a WD MyBook external, a WD internal, or a Toshiba internal,…
I have a completely large, empty drive: I want to save data there for myself. What name should I use as a generic term so that it is not clear which files are there? How do you do that? I mean, hiding documents, pictures, videos—everything private?
I'm in the process of replacing my old hard drive because it doesn't have enough storage space and can't expand it, so I have to replace the entire thing. My question is, even if I have to reinstall the games and everything, will my old save file stay or will everything be refreshed?
Hello, I want to install a new SSD hard drive in my PC. I already have two full ones in there and realized I don't have a free power cable. My question is, can I remove my DVD drive and use that cable for the new hard drive?
I would release this knurled screw.
Remove the frame, place the SSD on it and screw it with 4 screws.
Then insert the frame again and tighten it with the knurled screw.
Then I would put the appropriate SATA cable and the matching power cable into the SSD. 🤷🏼
The ssd doesn’t have a lot of space on it. How to see on the 2nd picture
Only the screws have to fit!
Now I understand. Thanks bro. Do you need the thread on the side of the ssd?
There are also housings or interchangeable frames where you need the thread on the side for installation.
Thank you.
The thread does not have to go through the SSD either.
You screw the SSD onto the frame, and the screws come from behind through the frame into the SSD.
Now I understand you. The thread does not pass through the ssd. And there are no threads at the back without the shaft
