Install front flashers?

Hello everyone, I wanted to install a front flasher on our MTW, which has a mobile identification light.

I've never installed front flashers before, can anyone help me?

I have the LED Martin dual color version. I now have both cables for both front flashers, red and red to one cable, black and black to one cable. My question now is how do I lay the cables on?

Black somewhere to the body, and red to the battery? Or rather, I protected a power thief from the fuse box with a 3A fuse.

How do I proceed now? I have 3 switches, one for the front flasher on/off and one for switching blue->yellow/yellow->blue and one for day/night reduction.

Do I now connect all the switches together with plus, i.e. tap the plus again somewhere from the fuse box and then connect all the switches together and do the same with ground or how do I do it?

You’re not doing anything. Otherwise, the own extinguishing group can still practice involuntary on its own car.

The first mistake is the power thief. That’s pussy! And if you lack the basic information and knowledge about the KFZ-Electrics, you should do better nix. It’s gonna smoke somewhere.

What is it for a car and how old? If it’s a little newer and more modern, it’s not easy to install something like that because the onboard electrical is monitored. Additional devices must then be fished if necessary.

Sounds like something for me. It’s not professional.

I recommend leaving your fingers before the Wehr is allowed to delete your own car

There are requirements such as blue light systems that have to be extended, as the registration must be for the vehicle and how to properly wired something like this by hand.

Own initiative in all honors, but every fire department/THW/rescue service has a central workshop or a commissioned company that can do this.
