Insta story not uploading anything?

I've been trying to repost an Instagram story I was tagged in since last night. Well, it just won't upload. No matter how many times I cancel and try again, this one story won't upload. If I post a random black picture, it uploads straight away. For my other friends who are also tagged in this picture, it also uploads to the story. What am I doing wrong? I have Wi-Fi, I've closed the app and logged in again, I've also uninstalled the app, I'm at a loss.
