Initial examination of guinea pigs?

Hello, I've just acquired two guinea pigs, and now they need to go to the vet for their first claw trim. But since they haven't been introduced yet, the vet will do an initial examination, right? How much should I expect to pay?

It depends on the vet. You might only have to pay €20, or you might have to pay €60, or they might not charge you at all. A general examination is always performed, though. Even if you're there for the second, third, or fourth time to have your pet's claws trimmed, the animal's general condition will still be checked.
