Limit content on second screen on Mac?

Hi

I was wondering if it is possible to assign a specific function/program to the monitor when I connect a second monitor to a Mac?

For example, I use my Mac as a cashier in a store and have the second monitor facing the customer. Would it be possible to display the cash register on the main monitor and automatically display the customer's purchase and price on the second monitor, limiting the second monitor to that as well?
