Ingolstadt or Augsburg?

I am currently in Bavaria with my relatives and would like to see a city for 1 day. What would be more recommendable, Augsburg or Ingolstadt? (It takes about 1 hour to drive to Augsburg and 40 minutes to Ingolstadt). LG

I think Augsburg has more history. Formerly important Roman camp, building of the Fugger, Fuggerei, Medieval and Renaissance buildings, magnificent fountain, Augsburg puppet box (can be seen without performance)
