Pass the computer science module without a computer?
Hello, I'm currently in my third semester of physics and would like to take a module called "Functional and Object-Oriented Programming" as part of my general studies. Exercise submissions are mandatory.
However, I'm not sure if it could be a problem that I don't have a PC in my shared room, but only a tablet.
What are my options for taking a module of this type? Do universities typically have PCs for this purpose, e.g., in their libraries or learning centers? Would a Raspberry Pi be sufficient, or should I change my mind?
Thanks in advance
You will have to solve programming tasks with very high probability. Whether in text form or digital, you would have to know.
There are usually computers in the university. A Raspi could be enough, depending on what exactly this is for tasks.
You’re the one who’s got the idea of something like that.
A Raspi should be completely rich. Or some old, neat laptop that still works. Don’t you have any expertise that can inform you about this?
Yes, there is often something like this whether the devices are usable for programming, but not necessarily said. But shouldn’t you have noticed that in the third semester?
On the tablet, the extremely laborious, depending on the requirements of the course (if specific software needs to be installed) is also impossible.
A tablet will not be enough, but there are dealers who sell leasing spinners for small money. This gives you a business notebook for small money, which will accompany you for a few years.
