Militaria collectors, tips and tricks?

Hey, I'd like to start collecting. I'd prefer Wehrmacht/SS/WSS/SA uniforms and peaked caps, but some of those are unaffordable, so I'd rather go for NVA. What should I look for? Do you have any tips for a beginner?
Old table lamp?
Hello from Lower Austria, I have a question about an old, three-armed table lamp. Unfortunately, I can't find anything similar online. It came from an estate, and I'd like to know if it might be a treasure. Maybe someone can tell me more about this based on the photos. I would be very grateful and…
Starting from the original, this is a silver coin of 1876, which shows the image of Kaiser Wilhelm I and was embossed in the embossing site “B” for Hanover.
It consists of 900/1000 silver, has a diameter of 38 mm and a weight of 27.78 g.
It has always been approx. 2 million.
The value of your coin is about 30 euros for the degree of preservation with strong wear phenomena. However, such esteems are always a bit difficult because the current supply and demand are important.
Of such coins, however, there are also a variety of counterfeiting, whereby yours does not seem to give me any features for a fake.
Hi Clerimojo,

The Avers shows the head image of Kaiser Wilhelm I. with a view to the right above the parlour of the embossing site. The cover is “WILHELM GERMAN KAISER KÖNIG V. PREUSSEN”.
The small crowned empire settler with Prussian coat of arms is on the chest. The caption contains the country name “DEUTSCHES REICH”, the annual number and the nominal “FÜNF MARK” between two stars.
The edge is smooth and carries the inscription “GOD WITH UNS”.The words are separated by an ice cream cross between Arabesque.
