Increasing the performance potential of MacBook?

Hi, I have the following question: I have a MacBook Air with an M1 chip for university. I know that Macs aren't ideal for gaming due to a lack of optimization, especially with macOS. However, you can also install and use Windows on the MacBook at the same time. My question is whether the chip is powerful enough and whether it's actually just the system that's holding it back.

Thank you in advance 🙂

Since “Apple Silicon” “Bootcamp” (Dual-Boot) is no longer possible. You could try to virtualize “Windows for ARM” (e.g. via UTM or Paralells etc.). Windows x86 is no longer possible with an Apple “M” chip.

The question is, however, whether the respective game under “Windows for ARM” can even run by means of iGPU passthrough, so I’m rather a NO.
