Hello, I plugged my USB drive into my laptop and while browsing through my USB drive, I noticed that there's a button labeled "Extend" in the USB drive's quick menu! I've searched everywhere online but haven't found anything. Could you please help me figure out what this is, what it's for, and how it works?…
Good morning,, I just installed a second M.2 SSD in my laptop, and now I want to install something on the new SSD, but I don't know how. My question is, how do I install things on the new SSD? The new SSD is displayed in the Task Manager. Thanks.
Hi everyone, I have a pretty big problem. My laptop screen is shattered (my kitten threw it down 🙄ðŸ¤). It's now in for repair, or rather, it's under warranty. However, since I'll lose all the data on the old laptop if I get it repaired or replaced, I was wondering if there's any way I…
I wanted to buy a PC, but I'm not sure what to do. Which hard drive would be best? (1TB). What's important here?
Hello, I just made a huge mistake by downloading a foreign file onto my PC that took up more than 700GB. What can I do to get the missing storage space back? I now only have 73GB, which is far too little!!!
It is not possible to connect memory externally. Compared to data storage, memory has to work with a multiple speed to provide your processor with information quickly enough. At such high speeds one moves quickly at the limit of the technical possible. For this reason, in order to be able to run speedily with such speed, the memory must be placed directly next to the processor. A few millimeters can cause considerable power losses as a consequence. Therefore, it is not possible to connect memory externally, since the physical distance to the processor would be far too large. The only way to upgrade the capacity of the memory is to install additional modules (if there are still free slots) or to replace the modules by larger ones.
How does this happen?
I’m sure there are. Is different in notebooks but from device to device. With some notebooks it is not possible to exchange the memory. Since in any case you have to open and partially disassemble the device, I would advise you to dare you without any expertise. However, some electric dealers may offer you to upgrade the memory for you.
Thank you.
No, I can’t. There is no external RAM.
