In Fritz!OS, if you have "existing access via WLAN," can you assign a separate network address for the network created by the Fritz-Box?

The Fritz!Box always converts it to 192.168.188.0/24. I'd like to use something else without having to connect a small receiver to the WAN.
If I do have to do this, which operating mode would it be? Bridge?

Fritz!Box 7390.

You want to change the IP address range for your Wi-Fi, right? Then this is the option that works. The information about which menu section it's in just happens to be on this page I linked to—you'll just have to read more than just the title 😉

Click on "Home Network" in the FRITZ!Box user interface .

In the Home Network menu, click Network.

Click the Network Settings tab.

In the "LAN Settings" section, click "More Settings" to view all settings.

Click the "IPv4 Settings" button.

Enable the DHCP server and specify the range from which the FRITZ!Box assigns IP addresses.

A notice:

In the factory settings, the FRITZ!Box uses the IP address 192.168.178.1 (subnet mask 255.255.255.0) and assigns IP addresses from xxx.20 to xxx.200.

Click "Apply" to save the settings.

Ah, now I get it. Another function. It says on your linked page

If the FRITZ!Box's IP settings are in the factory defaults, they will be automatically adjusted when setting up access via WLAN (IP network: 192.168.188.0, subnet mask: 255.255.255.0).

In my opinion, this also means that there must be an option somewhere in the network settings to make settings that differ from the factory settings.

The default IP range is 192.168.178.0/24

And of course you can change these.

You also have to be able to change this, otherwise a Fritzbox to Fritzbox connection (VPN) would not work.
