Whenever I blow my nose, air comes out of my left eye and pushes my eye out a little. The feeling is very unpleasant. Can anyone help?

Hello, I've been experiencing vitreous floaters, or opacities, for several weeks now (black threads floating around bright surfaces like the sky). My ophthalmologist says it's harmless, but he didn't investigate further, just based on my descriptions. Shouldn't you actually use eye drops and look inside?
