Hello, I have a 21.5 iMac with macOS version 10.15.7, and therefore my Mac is too weak for Unreal Engine 5. Are there any other options besides buying a new iMac? For example, upgrading? And if so, what do I need? (New hard drive, graphics card, etc.)

What you’re trying to do is stop Apple. You want to buy a new device, that’s the compulsion of Apple who got you full. If you don’t want this, away from apple, Conventional Lappi part with Linux Drauf allesal better. And you can easily upgrade it (depending on the model) as you want.
Retrofits are not desired by Apple.
That’s why they like to integrate a PC into a monitor.
So if you want to have more performance, just sell old Mac and buy new ones.
Or turn to Apple alternatives.
Use Hackintosh or Windows.
