This depends on the department and its tasks. I’m sure there’s something in a plane. Aircraft, fuel, vehicles, ammunition….

A fire-protection soldier does not work at all at the Bundeswehr fire department, but does service in the regular team.
This also applies to the respective service plan of the troops
