Ignoring your own child?

My mother has been completely ignoring me since Thursday because of an argument. Since then, I've been having constant crying fits. When I stand right next to her, she doesn't even look at me. She's never even done that to my sister, and they always have really big fights; compared to that, our fight was nothing. What can I do about it? Because I know that if I try to talk to her, I'll still be ignored. I have the feeling that my feelings aren't being taken seriously at all. I can really feel the effect this is having on my psyche.

Silent treatment is the worst thing you can do to your child! You might be able to talk to your sister that she’s giving your mother what that means to a person when he is ignored by his parents or partners. I’m so sorry that you have to do such an experience and I’m absolutely sure your mother isn’t even aware of what she’s doing with it. However, this is not supposed to excuse your mother’s behaviour only in the approach.
