If you go from ALG1 to ALG2 next month, do you only have to pay 18€ in broadcasting fees🤔🤔🤔, because this slip says 55.08€?

From next month I would be exempt, so I don't have to pay for 3 months, right? 🤔🤔🤔

First pay as usual and then, after receiving your approval notice and the proof included therein, submit an application for exemption.

You will then receive a refund of the overpaid amount, which should happen automatically since your bank details are known.

In practice, you pay the €55.08 now. Then you submit an exemption application and, after some time, you'll receive a refund of the excess amount.

In such a case, would the contribution service refund one month's contribution by bank transfer?

Ja, genau! Das passiert automatisch.

You must first transfer the amount you were charged.

The exemption will then be retroactive.

Theoretically, you can also transfer €55.08 minus 1 month's amount.

The only question is how quickly the retroactive exemption will take effect.

ALG 1 yes, ALG 2 no, you must apply for exemption. The job center will usually send you an exemption letter along with the approval notice.
