If fries have green spots, are they "alien fries" or what could be the reason?

I don't know exactly what Curry Spezial TM is now, but in principle there are also green curry powder. Maybe the points of the spices came.
Otherwise, I would be careful with potato products with green areas. The green color is produced by chlorophyll when the potatoes were stored too bright for too long. Chlorophyll itself is absolutely safe.
Potatoes also form solanine in the green areas. That's not healthy. You should cut away.
