In 1666, the eagle from Switzerland had received Nicolaus Sartison in the city of Lindenfels the confirmation as a city and court writer.

In 1937 my grandfather Vasilij Kondratovic Sartison was shot. His wife, my grandmother Chatlotta Edel, died in December 1941, during the deportation to Kazakhstan.

In Russia, the number of people named Sartison has increased, while in their old home there are no Sartisons anymore. Some have emigrated, some have died. Although nearby Sartisons live, but there are descendants of the then withdrawn Sartisons who came here during the war or at the present time.
