Can I play with AMD Ryzen 9 5950x and RTX3070 TI on 240 HZ monitor?

Full HD can output virtually any graphics card on 240Hz. Doesn’t mean that the graphics card also stabiele 240FPS shaft.

I play games on 240 FPS but I only have a 144 HZ monitor.

Well, it’s just coming to the tea ring. The monitor returns the image from top to bottom and the hold at a frequency of 144 hz. If they output 240 fps, then the image must necessarily change within one pass.

The image “throws” then at the place on the screen. At 144 Hz this is no longer noticeable.

Of course, you can activate V-Sync, then you will be waiting and only 144 images per second will be output.

See the 240 FPS on 240 HZ monitor much better

No. There’s a saturation effect. Says the difference between 60HZ and 100Hz is much greater than that between 144Hz and 240Hz.

what is different on 240HZ monitor?

The output latency is lower. At 144 Hz, the control takes 3.5ms in section and at 240Hz 2ms. The reaction time of the display is then even higher.

Switching to 240Hz Monitor

Only for the 240Hz no, there is the difference too small. This would only really make a difference in e-sport and there are 240Hz in itself too little.

However, the image repetition frequency is only a parameter of a monitor. Say a new monitor can of course be worthwhile if it is better in other areas.

144 Hz look just like 240 Hz, the image is more liquid. If the monitor has only 144 Hz, it can only represent 144 FPS.

I think they’ll have appropriate monitors. Otherwise, perhaps because of the frametimes that improve.

Yes, the frametimes play a role. Do not know me like that, have 60 Hz monitors and limit to 60 FPS, find that absolutely ok

The “hz” number says how many images your monitor can display. So if you have 240 FPS, your monitor can only represent 144 FPS.

a 144Hz monitor can reproduce a maximum of 144Fps. the human eye can be approx. 16 images per second.

to get the 240 fps really on the monitor taus you need 240Hz

No, from there something appears as a movement, but you can see a lot more. That’s why e-learners like as many Hz as possible.
