Guys, I'm confused. Someone sent me a WhatsApp message yesterday, and I replied normally. Today, his message is gone, but it doesn't say "This message has been deleted." It just disappeared? How does that even happen? My message is still there. Self-deleting messages are also disabled. I'm just confused.

If you can see the profile image and the status message, you are not blocked.
A hook can indicate that the person has either their phone or has no internet.
At Whatsapp you can also adjust that you don’t want to see the other when you were last online.
If the person had blocked you, you couldn’t see the profile picture. When you were online or if you are online, you can disable. A gray hook can mean that the person has switched off their smartphone, activates the aircraft mode or simply generally has no internet connection. This is also another explanation for why you do not see online status. You weren’t locked.
