I connect the audio device to the laptop with a cable but it doesn't connect. What should I do?

I plug the cable from my audio device (Focusrite Solo 3) into my laptop but the PC says: no hardware connected

This is because normally the lights on the audio device come on when it is plugged in.

The cable in my audio device is wobbly, and it's not connecting because of the loose connection? Do I need to buy contact spray? And is contact spray for this purpose?

Thanks for any help 🤍

Give me some useful information: Which cable do you connect? USB or the Out cable?

With the Out bushing alone it cannot work.

With USB it must be ensured that your device can supply enough power, with overload the USB 2 socket switches off.

DAS cable in the audio device is plugged in the USB-C plug, which are usually very stable. USB-A plug at the PC tend to break under mechanical stress. Maybe make a picture of your plug connections, but a sharp one.

What plug does the audio device have, a jack with 3 rings?
Does your laptop have a universal socket (Only one, not 2 with “green” and “rosa”)?
