I would like to buy a used Peugeot 206 CC, built in 2003, with 136,000 kilometers.
What experiences have you had with the Peugeot? What should I look out for when buying a used Peugeot? According to the seller, there's only a small hole in the exhaust that needs to be welded. Do you have any tips or suggestions on what I should look out for?
We don’t know the maintenance condition.
Needs to remember that the car is almost 20 years old, there can always be something.
If the car is good, there’s nothing against a purchase. Besides, he hasn’t been down so much kilometers.
If the mileage is really true (I have not noticed yet) you should actually have a look at the fault memory with test plug – kilometer meters are patient….
Can be quite right.
If a convertible is probably only moved in spring/summer.
Well, I don’t have to. Trust is good control is mM better.
The oven is 19 years old and probably consumed. You’re dealing with a brutal repair store. Get away.
The vehicle should cost 800 euros.
Buy him. The 800 € are well-designed, is called teaching money. Make sure that at least the muses work.
There are screwdrivers who keep something alive. you belong to them, you have a workshop car.
Some more ideas:
Such an old car is not suitable for anyone, especially not for people who can’t afford repairs and murk themselves around their vehicles.
But better vehicles are not currently available at the appropriate price!
Now you’re gonna put me in a grump. 🤔
It has all the technical deficiencies of the 206 (brake wear, electrics, exhaust system) plus the risk of steel roof impermeability at the top. Have fun!!!
Make sure the interior is dry. If not, or if it smells muffy, the canopy is leaky. Then you have little fun with the car and possibly mold in the interior.
Peugeot has nicely looking vehicles and as a new vehicle I could understand that you get weak.
Lastly, I talked to a workshop that were so no longer satisfied with the vehicles all around, unfortunately Peugeot was especially called…
So I’d probably get a Japanese guy who has what you hear, the least problems.
Why were they not satisfied? Just something like this can be said to everyone, but the others should at least be able to understand it 😅
Intricately built-in repair-unfriendly position of motor and transmission e.g.
That’s why I meant:
Other manufacturers aren’t better today. There everything in the engine room is so tightly built with zig covers, etc.
If I personally think of our PSA vehicles, then I am really happy. All the important parts in the engine room are well connected.
