I'm currently giving a presentation about Giacometti, his life, and his work. But how can I divide his three periods effectively?
hey,
Well, I can't really explain it very well, but as I said, I'm giving a presentation about Giacometti, his life and his work, and the focus is on his drawings, and I know that there are three periods of his style. But I don't have any questions about that. I just want to know how to present it well in a presentation. One point is his drawing technique. I'm supposed to address that, and he didn't just look at one specific one, but rather three. He first drew naturalistically, then surrealistically, and then in the style of existentialism. So my question isn't so much related to my topic, but rather how I can present three periods well. Ideally on one slide, if possible…
I hope this is understandable:)
A tool for describing his various images can be the “naturalism criteria” according to art historian Georg Schmidt:
