I recently saw a S-Bahn driver who was looking at his cell phone the whole time he was pulling in. Irresponsible?

What if a suicidal person had thrown himself onto the tracks during this time?

Jap, absolutely irresponsible. It’s not allowed. Unfortunately, this is still used by a few colleagues during the ride

Yes, it’s irresponsible. he could otherwise see if someone walks out of the track or falls and slows down the right time.

Yes – irresponsible. Can and should you report.

There was already a draw gap that was due to the phone on the “tax”. A locomotive driver must also be attentive, he has the responsibility for hundreds of passengers.

Nope. Do you think a train can just stand short like a car?

It’s quite strong on the brakes. There’s nothing left to do.

It probably depends on when he gets it, 200m or wg the phone only 30m before.

Then the brake maneuver would be too late.

I guess that’s what the distraction is. 30 or 200m
