I don't have a migration background here in my home country, do I?

Hello

I live in Turkey and my parents were also born here in Turkey, my great-great-parents maybe in Iran or something like that.

Here in Turkey I don't have a migration background, do I?

I'm only talking about Turkey, not any other country.

Were your great-grandparents Iranian? Or are they Turks who were only born there. If they were Iranians and then they emigrated to Turkey, you’ll have Iranian roots

Yes, your great-grandparents were Iranians? How can I know how to find out. If they were Iranian then you have migration background if not then

Υπόβαθρο μετανάστευσης is called migration background in Greek. I in Greece are counted as a Greek without a migratory background because I have Greek ancestors. So Griechin without migration background. As it is in Turkey I do not need to google or stop asking a Turkish person who knows

I don’t know I’m Griechin Turkish laws would be the last thing I’d be interested in, but no you don’t have a migration background if you say your ancestors were really Turks even if your great-grandparents were born in Iran. But if they were also genetic Iranians, you are Turks with Iranian roots. I can’t say what you’re about the two possibilities because I don’t know if your great-grandparents were also Iranians genetically.
