I'm losing my hair. What should I do?

TW??

I can just pull out a tuft like that. It's been going on for several months. I recently went to the doctor. Blood tests were fine. He couldn't tell me what was wrong. But I don't understand why. He's a doctor, after all, and he has to find out what's wrong. Otherwise, I'll end up bald. I'm only 17. So it can't be menopause; my blood is normal. What could be wrong?

That's why I'm asking you. Maybe you have some ideas or advice I can try to stop this.

It must be very burdensome for you. There are various causes for hair loss, and sometimes it is difficult to find the exact cause even if the blood values are in order. Here are some possible reasons and approaches that you can try out:

1. Stress and mental stress

Cause: Chronic stress can cause hair loss. This is also called “telogenic effluvium”.

Solution: Try to reduce stress, e.g. through relaxation techniques such as meditation, yoga or regular exercise.

Two. Nutrition

Cause: Even if your blood values are in order, a deficiency of certain nutrients (e.g. iron, zinc, vitamin D or B vitamins) can promote hair loss.

Solution: Pay attention to a balanced diet with sufficient vegetables, fruit, protein and healthy fats. Supplements like biotin can also help.

3. Genetic hair loss

Cause: If there are cases of hair loss in your family (e.g. father, grandparents), it could be genetically conditioned.

Solution: There are treatments such as minoxidil (free of prescription) or finasteride (depreciation) that can slow the progress of the hair loss.

4. Hormone causes

Cause: Even in men of your age, hormones (e.g. testosterone) can play a role.

Solution: An endocrinologist can carry out hormone tests if this has not happened yet.

Five. Scalp problems

Cause: Problems such as scales, fungal infections or seborrhoic eczema can cause hair loss.

Solution: Dermatological treatments such as special shampoos (e.g. ketoconazole) could help.

6. Mechanical loading

Cause: Frequently wearing tight hairstyles (e.g. pots) or strong combing can weaken hair.

Solution: Avoid unnecessary loads and use gentle hair care products.

Next steps:

1. Second visit: Get a second opinion, for example, from a dermatologist or a specialized trichologue.

Two. Guide diary: no animals when the hair loss occurs, what you eat, which products you use, and whether you have had stress.

3. Patience: Many treatments need a few months before they show results.

If you want, I can give you more specific tips or information about one of these points!

It is wrong to take that losing hair is the same as hair loss.

Hair loss by definition is only possible when more hair falls out than after-growing.

And how many of these are you can’t reach by “counting” or otherwise, except by looking for new gaps.

If it’s inherited, you can’t do anything. All the industry’s advertising promises don’t help.

Is there one or some people in your family with a baldness?

Your hair loss is already very advanced if it’s not hereditary, talk to your family doctor. I have a baldness my grandpa and grandpa had no, but I still have a terrible condition.

If so, you could remove hair from there and implant it on your head. Sounds a bit crazy, and I also don’t think that this pays the KK..The procedure also takes very long and there is no guarantee..
