I have a question about my rabbit?

A few weeks ago I checked my rabbit's teeth for the first time. She's 7 years old and whenever we went to the vet or something like that she never opened her mouth and then recently I managed it for the first time in 7 years. The length is fine and there's nothing visibly dirty or anything but they are yellow and my other rabbit's teeth are white and I'm wondering if that's normal for her age because she also has a chronic cold and since she's had it all comes out of her eyes 🙁 do you know why her teeth are yellow?

Hello 🙋🏽

The teeth are yellow is quite normal. I think this is also about nutrition.

Greetings I hope I could help you

Discoloration/coating can come from fresh food, yes.

However, since you speak of an obvious bruise and have never been with a proper veterinarian, discoloration could just as well indicate a dental disease.

Please pack your rabbit and go to a rabbit-in-cheek vet. Yes, it takes an hour, but if your rabbit finally dies miserably, because a great abscess has formed in the head, no one has anything.

Mine is now over 6 years old and the teeth are slowly yellow.

That she’s got out of her eyes isn’t normal.

My Sunny (R.I.P.) also had sniffing, there was only the nose.

It’s got to be treated.

Sorry to say that, but your vet is bad. I’ve already had three snoops… Of course you can treat it. And slime from the eye is really bad. Inhale is good, but every few days, and not 1 times a month. Please not with salt water 😱

Thank you 🐰 Of course depends on how bad it is. At Sunny it was sometimes so bad that I had to get her snotter out of her nose several times a day with a nose sucker 🐰 Meanwhile she got nasal spray for infants. The herbs did not eat Sunny, are probably not delicious 🙃

She needs Marbofloxacin or Enrofloxacin for 10 days!

Thymian+Kamille+ Pfeffeeminztee. Depending on how she reacts. Pfeffeeminztee didn’t like to test Sunny 😙 Simply. Morning and evening. If she gets no more air 😪 a drop of nasal spray for infants!!! This has always helped Sunny well. She needs antibiotics. For 10 days.

Okay, 1 hour drive is really hard 😔

That’s okay! Stressful is a car ride like that or something!
I always drive an hour with my rabbits. But I have a competent veterinarian who can really help my rabbit.
