Ich habe Angst vor MRT?

Hey

Hey Woelfin373, an MRT no matter where and which body part definitely does not hurt, generally sounds can not hurt, the only unpleasant thing about an MRT is that you lie in a very narrow tube, the sounds are not so beautiful but definitely do not hurt

You can give you a tablet beforehand, but you need a companion

The noise is generated by electrical switching operations in the device itself.

Quote from https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetresonanztomography:

The extremely fast switching of the currents into the gradient coils sometimes leads to loud noises during the recording.

Depending on the selected sequence, an intermittent cirping, knocking, summing, rattling or sawing is to be heard.

No one will beat your knee.

You really don’t need to be afraid.

These are magnets that don’t hurt!

Some people feel the movements of the magnets as unpleasant but it does not hurt!

You just have to lie quiet, you’re slowly going to the tube, it makes hum hum hum hum and that was it then!

If it were really so bad, you’d be stunned, wouldn’t you?

You really don’t need to be afraid of this MRT investigation.

It doesn’t cause any pain at all! No one hammers on your knee!!

In order to damp these grassy noises on old devices, you get a hearing protection.

With modern devices, you only hear light knocking.

A MRI doesn’t hurt in any way. It’s not gonna hammer you on your knees, how did you get that nonsense?

These are only magnetic fields you don’t feel. If you don’t believe it, take a magnet and keep it close to your skin. Does it hurt?
It’s just that you’re in a narrow tube, and it’s pretty loud in there. Usually there is a hearing protection or headphones with music.

The only one that hurts very minimally in an MRT is the contrast agent syringe, if one needs one (depends on the respective examination, is not always necessary).

Hi.
you feel absolutely nothing. It’s just quite loud. Here – it sounds like this:

It doesn’t hurt. The hammering is only an invariable sound. There are earplugs and headphones with music. .

Did you look at the videos? You don’t have a magnetic field with a CT.

No, the hammering of the magnetic fields doesn’t hurt. It’s super creepy. You get a little stressed because you don’t understand the noise. As long as the head is not in the MRT, there should be no problems. But I was also happy when my leg was out of the creepy tube! Just stay calm, and just say: Hey, thousands of others have been through, I’ll survive….
