I will soon be eligible for unemployment benefits. Is there further support available?
Hello everyone,
I recently received a rather disappointing diagnosis from my doctor and can't do my current job much longer. I will be resigning soon on medical advice. I've already spoken to the employment agency, and they said I won't be banned. Since my diagnosis means I can no longer do any physical work, and I've only done fairly physical work so far, I'll probably be hard-pressed to find a job. I'm looking to pursue retraining/further education, if I get approval.
I would only receive approximately €1,100-1,200 in unemployment benefits, which is pretty much more than my fixed costs (among other things, I pay €355 a month in child support to my son). If I do retraining/further training, I would theoretically continue receiving unemployment benefits, as far as I know. Are there any options for getting further financial assistance in this situation? I'm not in this situation voluntarily, but unfortunately due to illness.
First of all, I would like to express my sympathy that, unfortunately, you cannot continue your work due to the diagnosis.
As I see, your insurance will not be enough for ALG I to deny your living. Therefore, you can also apply for accommodation or ALG II to increase your services.
I cannot find out what performance is better without the presence of more accurate information. I therefore recommend that you know exactly the conditions and levels of both social services and make a decision based on them.
Good luck and good luck!
However, the full ALG – 1 will only be available to you if you can continue to be fully available for placement in work or if your claim has arisen from full-time employment.
It doesn’t matter whether in your learned profession or another occupation, only the mediation must be fully available, otherwise your claim would be shortened accordingly.
On the internet you will find a free home money calculator from the Housing Money Department, this would be a priority to check, otherwise citizens’ money from the Jobcenter, as well as a free computer.
I’ve spoken to the employment office and I wouldn’t get a lock.
Let this be written.
You can pay or increase citizens’ money and may not pay the maintenance temporarily.
Fixed costs can be reduced 🙂
You can try to apply for housing and because of the maintenance, there could be plenty of opportunities (I don’t know how to do that).
Maybe you’re getting a job center.
