I need your help..?

I have some self-confidence problems, a few are mentioned here >>>

Can you give me some ideas how I can get the lis?

1. When I stand in front of the mirror I start to cry because I am ugly

2. I can't wear shorts/skirts/dresses because I also start to cry because I feel too fat.

3.when I see someone I immediately judge for example: wow, she has slim legs, I wish I had that figure

Or

: wow, she's fat, I wouldn't wear that if I were her…

Although I'm very sorry because I don't want to judge! ๐Ÿ™

And I do a little exercise before going to bed to work off my dinner.

Can someone tell me why I do this and how to get rid of it?

LG ALINA

Have a nice day, ^ ^

You could be a dysmorphophobia. Dysmorhophobia means that those affected have a completely wrong body image of themselves. The classic example is magenta people who are usually convinced that they are strongly overweight, although they have normal or even underweight. It is typical of people with dysmorphophobia that they look very often in the mirror.

Since this is a (justly common) mental illness, it probably makes sense that you are in psychological treatment. It is quite certain that no one would come to you to the idea that you are ugly and thick, only do not use this statement because you perceive it completely differently, if I lie correctly.

I wish you all the best, and remember, even if you are to be thick and ugly, you will not be defined by most people about your appearance, but about your character and your kind.

No, that has absolutely nothing to do with a disability, it is a disease that quite many people suffer from. You may have experienced that someone from your environment has complained about their, according to their opinion too big nose, or something similar, although this nose looks completely normal for you and all others. The problem of these people is that they see something that is not visible to anyone else.

Scientists once did the following experiment with magenta girls who were all convinced that they were too thick. They all received a rope and the order to design a circle with the rope on the ground, which in their opinion correspond to their body circumference. The girls all had too big circles. They were convinced, however, that the rope circumference represents their body circumference.

There are many forms and degrees of severity of a dysmorphophobia and each part of the body can in principle lie in the center of the disorder of perception. There are also self-help groups. Maybe that would help you.

I will therefore no longer write to you. If you need my advice or help, you can ask me at any time. Okay?

I’m always honest, at least on GF. You don’t see much on the picture, but you can see that you look at the most normal, and are probably even pretty. I’m not telling you that, of course, because I have any nasty intentions– how could I– but just to make you courage. I really think you have a wrong picture of you. It’s good you’re doing something about it, you’re gonna get out of it!

You don’t have to apologize, there’s no reason for that, because you just wanted to be polite, which is really very welcome

and then another question: Are you that on the little picture?

Thank you very much for the good wishes… and something else: you can smell me here as usual. O.K.
