I'm so desperate, has anyone of you experienced this?

I had three root canals on one tooth before it was closed. Mind you, this was despite the fact that it hurts. My dentist can't explain why it still hurts so much. He referred me to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for a check-up. I've made an appointment, but unfortunately not until the end of February. Well, the tooth still hurts so much, and now my whole mouth feels inflamed, and eating is almost impossible due to the severe pain. Have you ever had a case like this? I've now made an appointment with my dentist.

Addendum: I went to the dentist and there's nothing wrong with the tooth, and the tooth isn't infected either. I've now been given azithromycin for three days and have to see the surgeon on Tuesday to see if they can find out anything. My dentist is at his wit's end.

My whole mouth is burning, and the tooth hurts even if I touch it lightly. I've never experienced anything like this before. He also said it must be neurological, something related to the nerves. But it only started after he did the first treatment on this tooth, not before.

The tooth must not be “made” as long as it still hurts.

Let an appointment with the endologist, this is specialized in root treatments and in your case the right contact person.

The bone may be ignited under the tooth. This can only eliminate the surgeon.
Absolutely good improvement. Maybe it helps you cool, but not too cold. That’s what’s going on

I already had catastrophes of jaws and teeth. If nothing helps, the tooth must get out.

Once had a cyst under the tooth, the dentist did not see, only the surgeon

Something like that. With me, 3 root treatments were made on the jaw tooth and then had quite pain. The pain was then better after a week, but after 3 other weeks no longer to be stopped. The jaw surgeon then said that the root tip is inflamed and after unsuccessful drilling of the bone, so that one can reach the root tip and the resulting pressure can escape I let the tooth then pull me after 3 painful months. Now I get an implant.

It was very similar to you with me. But he came to the root tip, but the inflammation could no longer be cured despite antibiotics. Most likely because the tooth had a hidden caries and remained undetected over half a year.

It really sounds like an unpleasant procedure. Toothaches are really bad and I know when you’re in pain for so long. Maybe you should try another dentist if you have problems with yours all the time. I’ve changed mine, too, and it’s been right since. Maybe you have extreme tensions in the jaw, which can also cause pain.
I definitely wish you all the best and a quick improvement!

Maybe he hurt a nerve.

There is no longer a nerve in the tooth when there was a root treatment

Then go to the emergency ambulance of the dental clinic if you have this. Maybe they can help you faster than the end of February.

Didn’t you tell the appointment that you’re in acute pain?
